The Young Entertainers left for Florida on March 27th, stopping in Virginia for performances on the way down and in North Carolina on the way back. The group returned home on April 6th.


The Young Entertainers performed at the Williamsburg Hilton on Easter Sunday. After moving on to Tampa, the group performed at Boca Ciega High School in St. Petersburg. At the stop in North Carolina on the way home, there were assemblies at Salisbury High School.

In addition to the performances, the highlights of the trip included some members of the group going to see New Edition in Tampa, Brian and a few others jamming with the house band in the lounge of the Tampa motel, Angela constantly losing her room key, Rich catching "the flu" and missing the North Carolina shows and the wild "Truth or Dare" stunts by some of the dancers in North Carolina.
