Created in 2014 by PRIME EVENTS and William Schoppy Inc. in recognition of Campo's more than three decades of dedication to the student-athletes of the CAL.
The award will be presented to the senior varsity athlete whose academic achievement and dedication to community and service was the most outstanding.
Lara Storr of Atlantic City High School was the 2015 winner. She received the award from Frank Campo.
Lara was on the field hockey, swimming and crew teams at ACHS
She was a member of the National Honor Society & Primary Youth Leader of Crossroads Youth Group
For the past seven years she shoveled snow at homes of the elderly in Brigantine
She annually serves at Sister Jean’s Soup Kitchen in Atlantic City
Lara traveled to New Orleans in 2013 for a week, rebuilding houses damaged during Katrina
and helped clean out & rebuild homes in Brigantine following Sandy
