Created in 2014 by PRIME EVENTS and William Schoppy Inc.
in recognition of Campo's more than three decades
of dedication to the student-athletes of the CAL.

The award will be presented to the senior varsity athlete
whose academic achievement and
dedication to community and service was
the most outstanding.




Isabella DeStefano of Buena Regional High School was the 2018 winner
She received the award from Frank Campo

Isabella developed, with her twin sister, Gabriella, “Project: Clean Water” to raise funds for a well in an African village
The well was installed in Tanzania and provides 500 families with clean, safe drinking water
She has been raising money since the age of three for “God’s Global Barnyard” which gives families around the world access to tools and livestock
She fundraises for the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, made sandwiches for Campus Kitchen and filled snack backpacks for School children
She was chairman of her school’s Holiday Food Drive and helped coordinate the Beacon Animal Rescue in Ocean View
Organized a project to purchase replacement school uniforms for those lost in Hurricane Sandy and developed a program to educate and raise funds to fight Malaria in Africa
Partnered with a church in Dickinson Texas to provide books for children who lost their homes and belongings in Hurricane Harvey
Isabella was #1 in her class with a 4.59 GPA, historian of her school’s Honor Society, Vice President of the Math Team and Historian of the Academic Team
She was a peer counselor & mentor for students suffering from social and academic pressures and is a Lector and Sunday School teacher
She was No. 1 singles player in tennis for four years and a 1st team all star all four years
She received the Career Achievement Award & Scholarship from The South Jersey Tennis Coaches Association
She was selected an NJSIAA Scholar-Athlete
Isabella will attend Rowan University Honors College and major in biochemistry, on her way to becoming a doctor
