in recognition of Campo's more than three decades
of dedication to the student-athletes of the CAL.

whose academic achievement and
dedication to community and service was
the most outstanding.




Haley Russo of Mainland Regional High School was the 2019 winner
She received the award from Frank Campo

Haley was captain of varsity cheerleaders and won Principal’s Award for unique contribution
Member of Spanish Club, Ambassador’s Club, National Honor Society, Biomedical Enrichment After School Tutoring Club and treasurer of Unified Sports
Captain of lacrosse team and most valuable diver on Swim Team
Assistant teacher at Beth Israel Synagogue Sunday School
Organized her own group that raised money annually for cancer research
Junior cheerleading coach for the Northfield Cardinals youth football team
Traveled to Costa Rica and repaired a soccer field in the village of San Gerardo de Rivas, using native language to communicate with local workers
Worked in the Better Together Program at Seashore Gardens Living Center
Mentored elementary school students through problem solving and creativity-based activities at Camp Intervention
Received a letter of recognition from the United States Patent & Trademark Office for her work
Was team MVP at the Summit National Cheerleading Championships at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Florida
