Created in 2014 by PRIME EVENTS and William Schoppy Inc.
in recognition of Campo's more than three decades
of dedication to the student-athletes of the CAL.

The award is presented to the senior varsity athlete
whose academic achievement and
dedication to community and service was
the most outstanding.




Christian Ganter of Ocean City High School is the 2023 winner

Christian (posing, above, with Frank Campo) is the president of Ocean City’s Science Club, vice president of the Leadership Club,
editor of the Key Club, officer in the Spanish Club and an officer on the Academic Team. He is a member of the Math Club, Student Environmental Association,
National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. He is a four-year member of the tennis team and has played varsity for three years.
This year he was 13-5 in singles and helped his team win a conference title. He competes in First Tech Challenge Robotics with the Atlantic County PAL
and has competed in two World Championships. He was awarded the Academic Excellence Award for being the male student with the highest GPA in his class
every year since eighth grade. He was selected as a student of the month by the Exchange Club and selected as a graduation speaker.
Christian was accepted into the Governors School of Engineering and Technology last summer and plans to study Mechanical Engineering at Princeton University next fall.
